Formerly, the Country House was an agricultural company, that cultivated mostly vines and olive trees, typical crops for central Italy.


There was also stock raising. They produced meat of high quality, for example “chianina”, which is typical meat for the “Bistecca alla fiorentina” (T-bone steak).


In the 1960’s the peasant families left the farm, and the landlords decided to transform the rural houses and outbuildings into apartments for country holidays.


The reconstruction was made taking into consideration the original characteristics of the buildings, made of local stone. Consequently, each apartment is unique: from the very simple ones to the more comfortable ones, with air-conditioning and satellite TV.


The Country House is composed of different buildings, located around the central area, which has a swimming pool and a park, closed for traffic.


Other facilities are the restaurant, the wine cellar, playground for children, table tennis, billiards, bicycles and an entertainment hall.
